About Me

About Me

María Antonieta Jandres is a Latina Lawyer and immigrant from Nicaragua. She grew up in Nicaragua and moved to the United States fourteen years ago to continue her education. Maria comes from a middle-income family with a single mother. Her mother was her role model and encouraged María to pursue the best future possible for herself. When María Antonieta moved to the U.S., she encountered many struggles and hardships, but she persevered despite the setbacks.

Maria Antonieta has lived in San Francisco, CA, for six years. She is a business owner for Antonieta legal Services, a professional legal services company. She works on notaries, translations, real estate, immigration, bankruptcy cases, and more in her job. She gives back to her community by donating her time and talents to different nonprofits and grassroots organizations. She does this by being a leader committed to change policies and the narrative around low-moderate income families.

One of the organizations Maria works with is Mission Economic Development Agency. This organization works with the Latino immigrant community and supports them with small businesses, housing, civic education, and other services.

Maria Antonieta passionately advocates for childcare, housing rights, and campaigns to end poverty. María Antonieta wants to leave a legacy for young children and youth by helping the Latinos who come to her business looking for support, help with their legal or real estate needs, or just a friendly hand that can uplift their strengths.
